Lovin' the little things.....

1. 2014 is looking grand!
2. Christmas Day 2013. We took this photo on Christmas Day 2012. Oh my, how she's grown!
3. Christmas gifts for imaginative play.
4. Summer reading.
5. Gingerbread baking.
6. At her blackboard. A Christmas gift from her Nana & Grandad.
7. Happy mail from the lovely Ashley over at Piper & Poppies. I'm so grateful for the beautiful people I've met through this blog.

I hope your days, post Christmas, have been slow and fancy free. It's beyond hot here today so we're doing all we can to keep cool. I'm almost tempted to buy a swimswuit.....the first one I've owned in over nine years!!!

 Happy days to you!

  1. Oh how I love the felt veggies...........so cute...almost want to eat them myself they look that good. I've got the Wholefoods for Children Cookbook and was looking through it yesterday. Funny thing is the first thing I've made out of it was the popcorn. Yes, good old fashioned pop corn with corn, coconut oil and a saucepan. Over the past number of years I have been lazy making the microwave one which is full of chemical toppings however we bought organic popcorn and made some the last couple of days and of course it is so much better. A beautiful set of photos. Regards Kathy A, Brisbane, Australia

  3. Oh, Millie! What a cutie! And I spy a gorgeous teapot in that photo with your books. Love a wood handle and perfect pattern. I am still hoping to get my hands on a Frankie journal but I think they are sold out here in our little town. My sister is visiting next week but if she can't find one in Brisbane I shall get online! Happy new year to you. Melania x

    1. Hi Melania! How wonderful is the teapot. My little brother's girlfriend gave it to me for Christmas. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.....the colour!!! The pattern!!! Good luck with tracking down a frankie journal. My Mum bought mine from the frankie shop online. It is truly beautiful on the inside this year. Have a magical 2014. Melinda x

  4. Ohh gosh that handmade fruit and vegie collection is amazing. I'd buy it for myself just to display it in a fruit bowl on the kitchen table.
Hope you had a fun-filled Christmas Melinda and wishing you a creative and fulfilling 2014. x
