Glittery Star Garland

I have a bit of a 'thing' for garlands. I just can't get enough of them and their festive qualities. Blake isn't quite as fond of them as I am but he has learnt to live with them.....I think. It took him 8 months to notice I had hung one in the living area so I figure if it takes him that long to realise it can't be bothering him too much.

The latest addition to my garland family is this glittery starry little number. It has made its home in Millie's room along with the one made from crochet rectangles. It's a match made in heaven really!

This one was so simple to make. Here are the steps, it was easy peasy.....

1. Cut out stars from glittery card. I cut out two different sizes for a bit of variety.
2. Glue stars back to back so that they are glittery on both sides. I just used regular craft glue to do this.
3. Once the glue has dried punch a small hole in each star ready for threading.
4. Thread and knot each star onto yarn/cord. I used a cream coloured cotton yarn to make this one.

Are you working on any special crafty projects this week?
